Everton v Albion – team news

Popov, Thomas and Thorne start for the Baggies

GORAN Popov, Jerome Thomas and George Thorne have all been recalled to Albion's starting XI as Steve Clarke makes three changes for tonight’s clash with Everton at Goodison Park (ko 7.45pm).

The Baggies’ bench is also bolstered by the return of Shane Long (leg), Claudio Yacob (shoulder) and Marc-Antoine Fortune (hamstring) - after all three players recovered from injury problems in time for this evening’s fixture.

Liam Ridgewell is named as a substitute with Popov making his first league start of the year at left-back and Thorne replaces Yacob in the heart of the Albion’s midfield – while Peter Odemwingie makes way for Thomas on the wing.

David Moyes has made one change to the side which overcame Bolton in last weekend's FA Cup fourth-round tie, with Victor Anichebe replacing Nikica Jelavic, who drops to the bench.
