Goran's boost for charity

Zoopla donate £1k to Autism West Midlands

GORAN Popov’s half-time heroics on Saturday earned Autism West Midlands £1,000 courtesy of principal sponsor Zoopla.

At every home game this season, Zoopla has given five lucky Baggies fans the chance to win either a house or £1,000 in cash – simply by striking a ball through either the door or window of a mock-up house.

The Macedonia international left-back was invited to take on the Zoopla Half-Time Challenge, after conducting a presentation during the interval of Albion's 2-1 win over Sunderland, and coolly slotted the ball through the door to win £1,000 for charity.

Zoopla has already paid out £38,000 to local charities this season through its ‘Golden Goals’ pledge, with £1,000 on offer for every goal the Baggies score.

Autism West Midlands provide help and support to the 60,000 sufferers of the illness in the region – while also offering training and activities for their families.
