Baggies striker voted by fans as top man in November
ZOOPLA’S first-ever Player of the Month award has been won by Albion’s all-action striker Shane Long.Long started all of the Baggies’ club-record four successive Barclays Premier League wins against Southampton, Wigan, Chelsea and Sunderland.
He scored vital goals against the Blues and the Black Cats to take his top-flight tally to five for the season – and chipped in with two assists for Peter Odemwingie.
Thanks to Zoopla, Albion supporter Gemma Davies, from Halesowen, has won the privilege of presenting the hotshot with his prize at The Hawthorns before tomorrow’s game with Stoke (ko 3pm) by voting for the Ireland international on the club’s official Facebook page (WestBromwichAlbionofficial).
For your chance to present the December award, all you need to do is vote for which Albion player you think has been the stand-out performer when we open the voting on Facebook next month.
All supporters who nominate the winning player will stand a chance of being chosen at random to congratulate the star man in person before a home game – and have their picture taken with and signed by the player.
