Interesting facts

There have been 43 goals in the 12 Barclays Premier League matches between the two sides, with Arsenal bagging 28 and Albion 15.

Albion have not been above Arsenal after 15 games of a top-flight season since November 1982.

The Baggies have not lost three successive Premier League fixtures since January.

The Gunners are currently tenth after 15 games – their worst start to a season in 18 years.

Both teams have scored 24 goals so far this campaign, but Arsene Wenger’s side have conceded 16 compared to Albion’s 19.

Only the bottom six have won fewer home games than the Gunners this term.

The Baggies travel to the Emirates under a different head coach for the fifth consecutive time in the league (Bryan Robson, Tony Mowbray, Roberto Di Matteo, Roy Hodgson, Steve Clarke)

Albion have not kept a clean sheet in their last 16 meetings with the Gunners – not since Nobby Stiles’ side drew 0-0 with Arsenal at The Hawthorns in November 1985.
