Ted has made important steps towards achieving the next targets in his career.

Cann has experienced plenty of senior minutes in non-league - most recently on loan at National League North side Leamington.

Albion's keeper played 19 times for the Brakes after joining their fight for survival on February 2023.

The 2021/22 season was a big one in Cann's development, which culminated in him producing one of his finest performances in an Albion shirt. The PL Cup Final against Wolves saw Ted make several outstanding saves to keep his team in the game and force a penalty shootout, in which the shot-stopper saved two penalties to help the Baggies win the cup.

Cann was handed more senior footballing experience during the 21/22 campaign after agreeing a short-term loan at National League North side AFC Telford United until early January, making six appearances.

And his stint in Shropshire helped the keeper gain more first-team action higher up the league ladder, featuring five times during a month with National League outfit Yeovil Town in March 2022.

The keeper originally joined Albion in 2017 at the age of 16 having left Liverpool.

Cann, who has a strong presence in the goal, impressed during a short loan spell with Worcester City at the start of the 2019/20 campaign.

Ted has been the usual first-choice in Albion's PL2 side during recent years, but the young keeper has also gained invaluable experience training with the first team, having spent time with England international Sam Johnstone and senior goalkeeping coach Gary Walsh.
