Divine joined some of his fellow first-years in making the transition from London to Walsall to begin his academy journey at Albion. 

Joining from a private academy in June 2023, Onyemachi is an exciting, attacking talent who enjoys having the ball at his feet, taking players on and getting into one-on-one situations against defenders. These are attributes which were showcased during the opening stages of the 23/24 season, scoring and assisting in the U18 Premier League South.

He's having to adapt to the rhythm of professional football and regular training, but academy staff believe the environment at the Baggies will only help Divine achieve his potential at The Hawthorns.
