Messages of support helped clinch his decision
JAMES Morrison has thanked his army of Hawthorns admirers for helping him make up his mind about a new contract.Baggies fans are celebrating after one of their firm favourites penned a new deal to take his stay at the Club until at least 2018.
Among the many factors which persuaded Morrison there was no place like the home he has made at The Hawthorns, was the out-pouring of support from the fans.
"With social media these days, it is a lot easier to get closer to the fans and what they are thinking," he said.
"I got loads of nice messages and I would like to thank them for making the decision easier for me.
"I'm very grateful for their support over the years and I hope to be able to repay them some more in the years ahead."
