ACADEMY graduate Tyler Roberts signed for Albion when he was just seven years old and has made one Premier League appearance so far, as he came on for his debut in the final game of the 2015/16 season against Liverpool.
He spent the first half of the 2016/17 season on loan at SkyBet League One side Oxford, where he scored his first professional goal in a Football League Trophy victory over Exeter City.
Roberts then agreed to go join fellow League One side Shrewsbury Town on loan in the second half of the campaign, scoring four goals in 13 games as they avoided relegation.
The forward has represented Wales at youth level, captaining the under-16 side as they lifted the Victory Shield for the first time since the 1940s.
He was included in Wales’ 2017 Toulon Tournament squad, making two appearances as they were eliminated at the group stages, and was also named as a stand-by player for the qualifier against the Republic of Ireland in March.
