Stourbridge-born Sam Field ended the 2016/17 season with two Premier League starts as a reward for his potential and hard work.
The Academy-graduate, a lifetime supporter, lived the dream in the closing weeks of the 2016/17 season when he started the Premier League clashes against Burnley and Chelsea.
That followed his Premier League debut against Middlesbrough at the beginning of the campaign, all of which established Field as a top prospect for the future.
"For 18 years of age, he dealt with it brilliantly," said Head Coach Tony Pulis after Field's Burnley appearance.
"Great start for him, and he's very much a big part of this club's future."Named Academy Player of the Season in 2016, Sam followed up that award by being named Young Player of the Year the following summer.
He is also an England age group international at under-17 and under-18 level.
