Exciting attacker Jacob Murphy joined up with Darren Moore’s squad in January 2019, adding more firepower to an already dangerous front line.
The London-born right winger, who can also play on the left and through the middle, comes with a wealth of experience from a variety of levels in the English game despite being just 23-years-old.
He came through the ranks at Norwich, with his first loan spells away from Carrow Road coming in League Two at Swindon Town and Southend United during the 2013/14 campaign.
Murphy made his Canaries debut the following season, claiming an assist in a 3-1 League Cup win over Crawley Town, before going out to Blackpool, Scunthorpe United and Colchester United to gain further first-team experience.
A successful year in the Midlands then came for the 2015/16 challenge as Jacob made over 40 appearances in all competitions at Coventry City, scoring 10 goals as the Sky Blues finished eighth in League One.
He finally broke into the Norwich team the season after, catching the eye in Norfolk by finding the back of the net 10 times in 40 games - form which subsequently earned a move to Newcastle United and inclusion in the England Under-21 squad for the 2017 UEFA U21 European Championships.
Murphy's time on Tyneside has seen him play 34 Premier League matches, scoring once, and helping Newcastle to a 10th-placed finish last season.
