Academy product Kyle Edwards made his name amongst Albion fans when he scored a remarkable goal for the Baggies in a 1-0 win against Brentford during the 2018/19 Sky Bet Championship campaign.

Edwards is a talented and skilful winger who is equally adept in midfield or attack and has a year of first-team EFL experience under his belt at Exeter City, whilst managing 11 appearances for the Baggies last term.

The young Englishman's stint at Sky Bet League Two side Exeter City saw him make close to 30 appearances in all competitions and score twice in the process - including a stunning goal in the play-off final at Wembley against Coventry.

Edwards was named on Albion’s first-team bench for the League Cup tie at Norwich City in September 2015, but a serious knee injury put the brakes on what could have been a breakthrough season.

After close to a year of rehabilitation, he made his comeback for the Baggies’ PL2 side in November 2016 and picked up exactly where he left off - producing a number of encouraging showings and resulting in a loan spell at Exeter in order to and continue his development.
