ALBION handed experienced defender Tyrone Mears a short-term contract in the final week of August 2018.
The right-back made his debut just hours after signing - playing 90 minutes in the Baggies’ 2-1 Carabao Cup win over Mansfield Town at The Hawthorns.
Head Coach Darren Moore played alongside Mears at Derby County.
After a much-travelled career around English football, which saw Mears accrue great experience at Preston, West Ham, Derby, Burnley and Bolton, the Stockport-born 35-year-old spent three seasons in the MLS with Seattle Sounders, Atlanta United and Minnesota United, before joining Albion.
Mears is contracted to the Club until January 2019.
