Central defender Dara O’Shea made his league debut for Albion in December 2019 and a month later signed a three-and-a-half-year deal at The Hawthorns.

Having joined the Baggies from Dublin-based St Kevin's Boys at the age of 16, Dara progressed through Albion's Academy and was the Club's Premier League Scholar of the Year for 2016/17.

Slaven Bilić is a big fan of the Republic of Ireland Under-21 defender, who has spent time on loan at Exeter City.

Slaven said: “He is the present and the future of the club. I love Dara."

The Irishman, who was originally a gaelic footballer, has featured for both Albion’s under-18s and Premier League 2 side.

He spent the 2017/18 season on loan at Hereford, playing a crucial role in their title-winning Southern League Premier Division campaign and run to the FA Cup second round.
Following his impressive spell with Hereford he spent the 2018/19 season on loan at Sky Bet League Two side Exeter City, becoming a regular at the heart of their defence in a team which narrowly missed out on the Play-Off places.
