We have taken a number of measures to ensure everyone who attends The Hawthorns is kept safe. Please review the protocols for your reassurance and ensure you comply so we can all enjoy a safe return of the Albion Family.
How we're keeping Covid-Safe
There are a number of measures to ensure that social distancing takes place at The Hawthorns, please play your part and keep a safe distance from other supporters and staff when at the Stadium.
- Safe queuing
- One way systems
- Timed arrivals
- Limited numbers in toilet facilities at any one time
- No congregating in concourses
- Empty seats in between supporters
- Phased exits
All staff, supporters and other visitors to the Stadium are required to wear a face cover at all times when at The Hawthorns. The only exceptions are players, backroom staff and other guests that are tested for Covid-19 and Red Zone accredited.
Supporters who are exempt from wearing a face cover are asked to contact the Club to inform us ahead of your attendance. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
All supporters are required to wear either a face mask or visor from their initial entry through the Astle Gates until their departure at full time.
Supporters are permitted to remove their face mask or visor for a short time while eating or drinking.
From the turnstiles and throughout the concourses we have a number of hand sanitiser stations that supporters are asked to frequently use. Supporters are also welcome to bring their own hand sanitiser if they prefer.
Supporters will be allocated a timed window of arrival to ensure that there is less congestion as supporters enter through the turnstiles.
Fans attending the match will be allocated an arrival time slot that will be determined by the location of your seat. Supporters will not be able to contact us to change their arrival time window.
Please ensure you are in the queue for the turnstiles within your allocated window
To stop congestion and to ensure the smoothest experience for fans we have one-way systems in place that are notified by signage and arrows on the floor. Please follow these instructions at all times.
Everyone attending The Hawthorns will have a non-invasive temperature check before entering the Stadium. Anyone who has a temperature of 37.8 degrees or above will not be permitted entry.
If you do feel unwell on the day of the game please do not travel to the Stadium.
The Stadium seating plan for the return of fans has been created to ensure that every other seat and every other row is empty.
This means that the seats to the left and right as well as in front and behind you will be empty.
We have implemented an enhanced cleaning regime which includes a dedicated cleaner per toilet facility.
The number of supporters that can use the toilet facilities at one time will be limited and the cleaners will continually ensure that the facilities are clean and safe.
To ensure there is no crowding or congestion at full time as fans look to leave the Stadium, we will be phasing exits.
Please remain in your seat until a Steward excuses your row and then sensibly make your way to the exits.
