Martin signed for Albion in September 2022.

The centre-back's first term at The Hawthorns saw him make five appearances before joining Wigan on loan in January 2023. Unfortunately, a serious knee injury on his Latics debut against Blackburn Rovers ruled him out for the remainder of the 2022/23 season.

Martin made his Albion debut v Preston North End in October 2022.

Kelly has more than 150 Premier League appearances to his name following stints at Liverpool and Crystal Palace.

The defender's career began on Merseyside at the age of seven, where Liverpool's academy chiefs recruited him to start his journey through the club's youth ranks.

Following his promotion from the academy centre to Liverpool's Melwood training ground, Martin enjoyed success with the reserves under Gary Ablett before his push for senior football came calling.

It was a fine way to make his senior debut for Liverpool, with Kelly coming off the bench in the UEFA Champions League v PSV Eindhoven in December 2008.

Martin left Anfield in 2014 having made over 60 appearances and winning one trophy along the way (English League Cup) before starting a new journey at Selhurst Park.

In August 2014, the former Liverpool man signed for Crystal Palace to begin what would be an eight-year stay in South London.

There, he helped the Eagles remain in the Premier League and reach the FA Cup Final in 2016 before departing the capital in 2022.

Kelly has also gained caps on the international stage. After playing for the Three Lions at youth level between the U19, U20 and U21s age groups, the centre-half made his senior bow for England in May 2012 - a 1-0 win over Norway.
