The Regis Academy - Teacher's Open Evening

Regis Hero Banner Blue

The Regis Academy would like to invite willing teachers to our open evening, to begin our recruitment for a Key Stage 2 teacher role.

At The Regis Academy we aim to work in partnership with all members of the school community to make teaching and learning exciting and enjoyable. Our aim is to support and challenge every child to achieve at the highest possible level and create a safe and secure environment where every child is happy, valued and prepared to make a positive contribution to our ever-changing society.

We want to work in partnership with schools, education authorities and wider agencies to provide places for disadvantaged young people that would benefit from a smaller setting and are struggling to access mainstream education. Our aim would always be to re-integrate pupils back into mainstream school or other alternative education. As an Ofsted registered Independent School pupils can be dual registered or maintained on the Regis Academy roll.

We have many years of experience working with some of the most vulnerable young people of Sandwell, Dudley and Birmingham. In December 2020 we submitted an application to The Department for Education to register The Regis Academy as an Independent School for primary aged pupils (Year 3 to 6).

We are awaiting a date for our pre-Ofsted inspection and hope to open at some point in this academic year. We cannot currently appoint against this post but we would like you to attend our opening evening so you can find out more about this exciting opportunity and prospective teachers can express an interest in the role.

If you are interested in finding out more about this role with The Regis Academy please register your interest by emailing hr@albionfoundation.co.uk by Friday 26th March at 5pm. Attendees will receive a zoom link the morning of the event. Please note limited places are available. Opening evening will take place on Monday 29th March at 6:30pm.

We are seeking to appoint a permanent, full time teacher with an interest and experience in working with children with SEN and willingness to undertake the NASENCO qualification. We are not looking for a qualified SENCO. We are looking for an inspirational teacher to develop and lead inclusion and SEN within the school and join our highly committed team.
