Albion Under-18s had to settle for a goalless draw at the Newcastle United Academy despite creating enough chances to beat the Magpies.
The Baggies put in a dominant performance, and went close to scoring the winner on multiple occasions.
Alex Gilbert missed a first-half penalty just before the interval while Albion also saw efforts crash back off the post twice following an in-swinging corner.
The result means the Baggies are now in sixth place in the U18 Premier League.
