Soule feeling positive about PL2 progression

Jamie Soule says he is in a confident state of mind ahead of Albion PL2's trip to Reading on Monday night and is excited to face the Royals.

The young striker has netted a trio of goals for Michael Appleton's side, who since losing to Manchester United on the Premier League 2 Division Two opening day have recorded impressive wins against Fulham and Sunderland.

And Soule says he is eager to see if his teammates can get a result against the Royals at the Madejski Stadium (ko 7pm).

“The atmosphere in the team is positive,” said Jamie.

“We are hard working and training has been to a good level. We are expecting a new test against Reading. They have some good individuals and like us they have the ability to score goals. I’m excited to see the outcome.

“I’m very confident in myself and also in our teams’ ability to create chances and win games. Our win against Sunderland was testament to how we prepared to exploit them during our training and it worked very well in the game.

“It’s always nice to have a fresh start and in this case it’s under Michael Appleton as our manager. He has brought new thoughts to us as individuals and as a team. I like that he wants us to be forward thinking which is a bonus for me as a striker as we will try to create chances.”
