Albion PL2 4 Middlesbrough PL2 1

Albion’s PL2 side moved up to third place in the Premier League 2 Division Two table by recording a comfortable 4-1 victory against Middlesbrough at the training ground.

The Throstles have taken 19 points from 10 games and sit behind West Ham and Manchester United in the league table, although Stoke City could leapfrog Albion with a win against Newcastle United tonight.

Rayhaan Tulloch fired the Baggies into an early lead, sweeping a strike into the bottom corner.

Just before the break the visitors levelled. Isaiah Jones hit a shot from distance which was parried into the path of Rumarn Burrell, who tucked away with ease.

But the Baggies came racing out of the blocks in the second half. Willock picked up the ball on the halfway line and travelled with it before curling a superb shot into the corner.

Albion extended their lead minutes later as Dara O’Shea clipped a through ball to Jamie Soule who dinked the ball past the Boro ‘keeper to get his name on the scoresheet.

Just after the hour O’Shea met a Finn Azaz cross with a powerful header to round off the scoring for the Baggies.
