Trials now open for Player Development Academy

We are looking for talented young footballers to take part in trials to join The Albion Foundation’s Player Development Academy, which has a proven pathway to elite football.

The Academies are designed to progress players and identify young talent that have the potential to reach West Bromwich Albion's Talent ID programme or Academy.

The Black Country trials will take place on Monday, July 22 and Tuesday, August 27. Book a place on a trial by clicking on the age group you wish to register for. Book onto trials for Monday, July 22; under 8s and under 9s, under 10s and under 11s. Book onto trials for Tuesday, August 27; under 8s and under 9s, under 10s and under 11s.

Trials in South Bromsgrove will take place on Wednesday, August 28. Book a place on a trial by clicking on the age group you wish to register for; under 8s and under 9s, under 10s and under 11s.

Trials in Worcester will be take place on Tuesday, July 23. Book a place on a trial by clicking on the age group you wish to register for; under 8s and under 9s, under 10s and under 11s.

After the trials, players have the chance to either be selected for the Player Development Academy or one of the Player Development Centres, with both providing a pathway to elite football.

Players will need to arrive ready to play in suitable sports clothing. Shin pads and a drink will be required. The trials will take place on outdoor 3G pitches so please make sure players wear moulded boots or AstroTurf trainers, NO metal studs please.
