Ahmed Hegazi has been named in Egypt’s provisional 25-man squad for this summer’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The Pharaohs, who name their final 23-man squad on Tuesday, June 11, will play friendlies with Tanzania on Thursday, June 13 and Guinea on Sunday, June 16 as they make their final preparations for the continental competition.
AFCON hosts Egypt then kick-off the tournament at the Cairo International Stadium against Zimbabwe on Friday, June 21 before taking on DR Congo and Uganda in their other Group A fixtures.
