Snowdon Challenge 2019

The Albion Foundation is welcoming fans to join forces with the Club's Official Charity Partner and raise £15,000 to support their continued good work in the community by taking on the highest mountain in Wales.

Held on Saturday, June 15 2019, the exciting challenge will require you to trek to the summit of Snowdon in the Snowdonia National Park.

The park is home to some of the most rugged and challenging peaks in Britain, giving it a reputation as one of the best natural adventure playgrounds in the United Kingdom.

You will meet your challenge leaders and be given your challenge safety briefing before beginning the trek, where you will be supported every step of the way by fully qualified mountain leaders.

The challenge will start in the town of Llanberis, right in the heart of the mountains of Snowdonia.

You will venture up and down the Llanberis path, a distance of 15km and with almost 1,000m of ascent to reach the summit.

Reaching the top of the mountain is sure to be a special moment, and will provide a spectacular view of the surrounding landscape – weather dependent!

Upon descending you will be presented with your challenge medal.

There is a registration fee of £75.00 upon booking, with all trekkers required to raise £225.00 for the Foundation.
