ALBION won their first Premier League game of the season at the eighth attempt, beating Bolton Wanderers 2-1 at The Hawthorns.
Goals from Nigeria’s Nwankwo Kanu and Zoltan Gera of Hungary were enough to hand a maiden three points to the Baggies.
It proved to be Albion’s final win under Gary Megson, who left the club three weeks later.
