THE Albion Foundation was on hand to bring characters from children’s favourite books to life for World Book Day 2018.
The Foundation worked with 19 schools in the local community in an effort to bring stories to life, with St James Primary School being one of them.
As partners of the Premier League Reading Stars programme, the day has always been a special date in the diary for the charity.
"We as a Foundation are passionate about getting young people reading," said Katie Grainger, Community Coach at The Albion Foundation.
"It's really important to get the children reading, it's helped them be more confident and increase self-esteem."
