DARREN Moore’s core values and principles are impenetrable, according to Baggies midfielder Sam Field.
The 20-year-old, who first met Moore more than six years ago while a player in Albion’s Academy, believes the Club’s Head Coach is the same man he encountered in his early teens.
And for Field, that’s one his most endearing traits.
He said: “I’ve known the gaffer for about six or seven years I think.
“I would’ve met him for the first time as an U12 or U13 player in the Academy.
“He’s all about morals and principal, his motto is ‘we not me’ and it’s very much like that under his leadership.
“He has always been the same and I think that’s the best thing about him.
“I was absolutely delighted for him when he got the job permanently over the summer.
“We’ve got a great relationship and it’s definitely a big chance for me to impress this year.
“Hopefully I can keep proving myself and get in his starting XI week-in, week-out.”
