Chadli claims assist in Belgium World Cup warm-up win

NACER Chadli set up one of Belgium’s goals as they stormed to an impressive 4-1 victory over Costa Rica on Monday night in Brussels.

The Baggies man, who replaced Thomas Meunier at the break, crossed for former Albion forward Romelu Lukaku to head home his second goal of the game to make it 3-1 just five minutes after coming off the bench.

Dries Mertens and Michy Batshuayi were also on target for the Red Devils who had fallen behind in the 24th minute when Bryan Ruiz volleyed past Thibaut Courtois.

Chadli and Belgium will now head for Russia where they face Panama, Tunisia and then England in Group G.
