Chelsea v Albion match preview

ALBION travel to Stamford Bridge on Monday night to take on reigning Premier League champions Chelsea (ko 8pm).

The opposition

Chelsea come into the match off the back of two top flight losses in a row following defeats against Watford and Bournemouth.

Despite that, they are still sat fourth in the PL table on 50 points from their 26 fixtures so far this season.

Antonio Conte looked to strengthen his team last month by bringing in Ross Barkley from Everton, Emerson Palmieri from Roma and Olivier Giroud from Arsenal.

Last time out

The last meeting between the two sides was back in November when Chelsea ran out 4-0 winners thanks to goals from Alvaro Morata, Marcos Alonso and an Eden Hazard brace.

Albion’s most recent game at Stamford Bridge was a 1-0 loss last season, but they did manage a 2-2 draw the time before back in January 2016.
