Moore targets ‘improvement’ ahead of Wilder reunion

FRIEND will become foe on Friday evening as Darren Moore is handed a reunion with former team-mate Chris Wilder at Bramall Lane.

With Sheffield United one point and two places above Albion in the Sky Bet Championship, Darren recognises Chris has "done a great job" as he plots the downfall of his old pal from Bradford City, with whom he spent a season at Valley Parade in 1997/98.

"They're going really well", he said.

"It's another away fixture and another tough game.

"Both teams play on the front foot and are attack minded.

"Chris has done a really good job.

"It bodes well for another entertaining game with both teams in good form."

The Baggies find themselves undefeated since November 3 (W3, D2) - winning each of their last two away fixtures - but find themselves seven points off the summit going into the 22nd round of fixtures.

It's of little concern to Darren, who added: "We're not looking at what others are doing.

"Our focus is on West Bromwich Albion and getting results for this football club.

"The biggest thing we need is to find consistency and confidence.

"We're working hard as a group to understand each other's strengths.

"When I look back at the start to where we are now in terms of performance levels I have to be relatively pleased.

"Am I satisfied? No. There's still room for improvement."
