Moore pleased with Albion ‘attitude’

THE Baggies battled back from a goal down to draw at Nottingham Forest.

Adlene Guedioura's strike looked to have given the hosts all three points, but Matt Phillips' 87th-minute screamer earned a share of the spoils at The City Ground.

And Head Coach Darren Moore pointed to his players' attitude in clawing the game back to 1-1.

"We went a goal down which was a sucker punch," he admitted.

"But our attitude and manner in which we responded was very, very good.

"The neutral has seen an exciting game.

"From our perspective we came here with a game plan and nearly executed it with precision.

"We changed shape a little bit. We got more attacking players in more advanced positions and caused them some problems.

"We finished the game strongly and, from being a goal down, we could be here with three points."

And what a finish it was to level things up.

Darren added: "It was a great strike from Matty. He's got that in him and it's good to see him on the scoresheet. We see that in training on a daily basis.

"But Sam came up with a great save to keep us in the game.

"We hit the crossbar, we hit the post. On another day they go in.

"We've come to a very difficult place so we're happy to come away with a point."
