Trio back in full training

ALBION have been handed a further fitness boost ahead of Sunday's clash with Manchester United, with Daniel Sturridge set for a return to action.

In his pre-match media address, Darren Moore confirmed that the Liverpool loanee has trained with the Baggies squad ahead of the trip to Old Trafford.

News of Daniel's return comes after a welcome update on the fitness of Sam Field and Nacer Chadli, both of whom stepped up their recoveries in Albion's Premier League 2 side at Brighton on Monday evening.

Nacer, a long-term absentee owing to a thigh issue, and Sam, recovering from a minor calf strain, played a pre-scheduled 60 and 90 minutes respectively on the south coast.

While Daniel, sidelined since February's defeat at Stamford Bridge, wasn't involved against the young Seagulls, he is in contention to feature at the Theatre of Dreams at the weekend.

"Daniel, Nacer and Sam are now back in training which is excellent for us," said Darren. "We're delighted to have them back.

"It's always good to have additions to the squad and all three players are quality players. They're players that I respect highly as people and as footballers.

"We'll see how they train over the next few days. It's possible that they could be part of the squad."
