Stoke City U18s 2 Albion U18s 0

ALBION'S U18s slipped to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Stoke City on Saturday thanks to goals either side of half time from Jacob Twyford and Connor Russo.

The Potters made a bright start to the game and went in front on six minutes through Tyword's effort.

The young Baggies side came close to equalising when a corner found Nick Clayton-Phillips, but his header was clawed away by the Stoke goalkeeper.

Very late into the game the result was then put beyond all doubt as Russo struck to hand the home side all three points.

ALBION: Przybek, White, Martinez, Healy, Harmon; Holsgrove (McCourt 85), Hall, Smith, Rogers, Clayton-Phillips, Soule.

Substitutes: Cann, Gilbert, Ojebode, Williams.
