Albion duo in Friday international action

HAL Robson-Kanu and Oliver Burke both featured for their nations on Friday night.

Robson-Kanu came off the bench inside the last 20 minutes as Wales recorded a vital 1-0 win over Georgia in FIFA World Cup qualifying.

Tom Lawrence scored the only goal of the game in Tbilisi.

The win leaves Wales second in Group D, one point behind leaders Serbia who lost 3-2 in Austria.

Robson-Kanu could come up against his Baggies team-mate James McClean on Monday night when Wales face the Republic of Ireland in Cardiff.

The Irish are one point behind Wales in third.

Elsewhere, Oliver Burke captained Scotland’s U21 side against England at the Riverside Stadium in U21 European Championship qualifying.

The Baggies man was replaced at the break as the Young Lions ran out 3-1 winners.

Scotland travel to Latvia for their next group fixture on Tuesday.
