20 November 2017

Albion loanee Rekeem Harper playing for Blackburn

REKEEM Harper made his first SkyBet League One appearance since September as he played the final 13 minutes of Blackburn’s 3-0 win at Bury.

The midfielder had been sidelined with an injury before making his comeback in the FA Cup and Football League Trophy at the beginning of the month.

In the same division Tyler Roberts came on in the 60th minute for Walsall but couldn’t prevent them being defeated 1-0 at home to Gillingham.

In SkyBet League Two Jack Fitzwater completed the full game for Forest Green Rovers as they scored a stoppage time winner to beat Crewe 3-2.

Also in English football’s fourth tier Kyle Edwards was a late substitute for Exeter as they fell out of the automatic promotion places by losing 1-0 at Chesterfield.

Elsewhere in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier League Dara O’Shea started and helped to keep a clean sheet for Hereford as they beat Hitchin 5-0, and Ethan Ross was in-between the sticks for Redditch United as they were defeated 2-1 by Royston Town.
