JONNY Evans has paid tribute to the travelling army of supporters who have secured back-to-back sell-out followings for Albion’s next two away games.
The Baggies take a 2,340-strong contingent to Huddersfield Town on Saturday (ko 3pm) - and will be backed by over 3,000 fans at the Wembley clash with Tottenham Hotspur later this month.
And the skipper insists fans should never underestimate the impact they can have on the pitch.
“The fans can make a massive difference,” said Evans.
“Our fans have been fantastic. For them to travel in numbers is hugely important.
“I think they’ve sold out for Tottenham as well so it shows that they’re giving their support to us.
“I have been impressed with the fans since I’ve come here.”
