Albion 2 Norwich 1

Bradley strikes late from the spot

CALLUM Morton scored his first Premier League 2 goal as Albion overcame Norwich City 2-1 at the Training Ground on Monday.

The Baggies striker opened the scoring in the 19th minute with a neat finish before Benny Ashley-Seal brought the Canaries level after a goalmouth scramble.

The hosts dominated the second period with Nick Clayton-Phillips and Kyle Edwards going close.

But as the game looked to be heading for a draw, Jack Fitzwater was brought down in the penalty area and Alex Bradley dispatching the resulting spot-kick.

ALBION: Rose, Meredith, Fitzwater (c), O'Shea, Melbourne; Chambers (Wilding 70); Bradley, Harper, Edwards, McCourt (Clayton-Phillips 45); Morton (Pierce 88).

Subs: Keranovic.
