ALBION will provide a discount and loyalty bonus to fans who choose to back the team on the road using the Club’s official Baggies Travel.
The Club have announced a £5 subsidy in the coach price for fans attending the new season’s first two Premier League away games at Burnley and Brighton.
The outcome of the offer will then be assessed as to its future use, while Baggies Travel users will also be given five loyalty points per game for choosing the Club’s official service.
The offer has been introduced to encourage the Club’s away support and to make it easier to get behind the lads at away games.
Chief Executive Martin Goodman explains: “Some supporters complain when we do not take full allocations for our away games, but the simple truth is that our travelling numbers do not warrant them and to take them would cost the club money.
"This is one way in which we can attempt to increase numbers to away games. We have an official travel scheme and we use a preferred partner with high quality coaches for our fans.
"As part of an incentive to back our official travel scheme we’re rewarding fans with loyalty points and a discount for the first two games. After these two games, we will review the position of subsidised travel for the rest of the season.“
