ALBION have been drawn alongside midlands neighbours Coventry City, Walsall and Shrewsbury Town in the group stages of the 2017/18 Checkatrade Trophy.
The Baggies have been placed in Northern Section Group E for the competition, with each invited Under-23 side facing three EFL clubs.
Holders Coventry will be looking to defend the trophy they won in April, beating Oxford United 2-1 in front of 74,434 suppprters at Wembley.
EFL clubs have been placed into their respective groups in order to minimise travel distances.
Albion will play all group games away from home, with fixture dates and times confirmed shortly.
