SANDWELL Valley Country Park was awash with colours of the rainbow on Saturday for the Blind Dave Colour Run.
500 runners were coated from head to toe in paint for the event, which was held by The Albion Foundation in a show of gratitude to Foundation Ambassador 'Blind Dave' Heeley for his charity fundraising efforts.
"Everyday he's going above and beyond for The Foundation and raising funds," said Jonathan Ward, Football Development and Sponsorship Officer for The Foundation.
"It's not just about raising funds, it's about raising awareness and that's something that Dave does extremely well."
"It's been brilliant," beamed Dave after the five-kilometre run.
"What I've loved about today is everybody's been enjoying the clouds of paint.
"Everybody's said they want to have another crack at it next year and that's testament to how good today's been."
