Pulis provides injury and selection update

Evans to miss out while Albion waiting for Nyom clearance

ALBION defender Jonny Evans will miss Saturday's Premier League trip to Tottenham Hotspur owing to his calf injury.

The Northern Ireland international centre-back sat out of last weekend's FA Cup defeat to Derby County having been forced off just days earlier in the first half of the 3-1 league win over Hull City.

Tony Pulis will again be without Evans as the Baggies travel to White Hart Lane (ko 12.30pm).

Meanwhile, the club are still awaiting international clearance for Allan Nyom to feature following his non-selection by Cameroon for the Africa Cup of Nations.

Nyom sat out against the Rams along with Chris Brunt and Jonathan Leko, who will both be assessed prior to the trip to north London.

Pulis said: "We're a little bit disappointed Jonny's not fit, that disappoints us because we need our quality in the team, especially against the top teams.

"We've still got that issue with Nyom as well, that's still rolling.

"Brunty missed the game last week so we'll have a look at Chris. But Jonny's not going to be fit and Nyom we're waiting on.

"The rest are getting on with it."
