PL2 side prepare to host Norwich

Baggies in action at Aggborough on Monday

ALBION's Premier League 2 side could leapfrog local rivals Aston Villa and move to within four points of the playoffs with victory over Norwich City at Aggborough on Monday evening (ko 7pm).

Albion will be out for a revenge after a stoppage-time winner gave the Canaries all three points in the return fixture in October.

Baggies boss James Shan wants a performance from his side as they continue their quest for promotion to the PL2 Division One.

"I probably sound like a bit of a broken record about us not performing at the levels that I believe we can.

"We've had four, maybe five performances that have matched our expectation and above.

"We just haven't repeated that on a weekly basis.

And Shan is aware of the test that the Canaries will give his side.

"Norwich are a good footballing team, they've played a good brand of football for a while now.

"Our games against them always seem to be good footballing matches, they're patient and don't mind shifting the ball around.

"But we've identified areas to exploit and we'll want to get back to basics ourselves to get the points."
