ALBION are keeping fingers crossed that Matty Phillips and Chris Brunt can begin to lighten the Club’s injury problems this week.
The Baggies have Craig Dawson making “excellent progress” and Gareth Barry now under treatment for a thigh injury, although it is not thought to be serious.
While playmakers Nacer Chadli and James Morrison are looking at a pre-Christmas return, Head Coach Alan Pardew is hoping his options will improve at Swansea this weekend with the return of Phillips and Brunt.
"Hopefully we are going to see Phillips back and hopefully see Brunty back as well,” said Pardew when asked which players might be available to him at the Liberty Stadium.
“It would be nice for Brunty to be back, in terms of being just around the team, because his delivery from set plays is one of the main reasons Albion had a great record at scoring from those.
"I’ve got to say we were disappointing from set plays against Palace and that’s something we can improve immediately."
