"Offering free sport is massive"

ALBION’S Hal Robson-Kanu and Rekeem Harper visited Uplands Manor Primary School to get involved with The Albion Foundation’s GoPlay session.

Free for participants between six to twelve years of age, the initiative encourages youngsters to play various sports and get their creative juices flowing with arts and crafts.

Birmingham-born Harper appreciates the effect providing free sport will have on the region.

"It's massive because when you go to different areas you might have to pay but coming here the kids are more likely to enjoy it."

Playing kick rounders and tag, it was pleasing for Robson-Kanu to see so many smiling faces.

"It's about giving back to the community.

"It's great to see so many young kids out and enjoying sport, which is an important part of growing up."
