Club legends raising money for The Albion Foundation
THE Baggies Bike challenge begins tomorrow with a team featuring ‘Super Bob’ Taylor and ‘Blind Dave’ Heeley cycling from Southampton to The Hawthorns in time for Saturday’s game.
Now in its third year the challenge, which is proudly sponsored by Bache Group, raises funds for the club’s official charity, The Albion Foundation.
28 cyclists will take on the 180-mile trek from the South Coast, riding through the North Wessex Downs, Oxfordshire and Warwickshire, before parking up their bikes at The Hawthorns prior to the Premier League clash with the Saints.
The challenge is just one component of #AlbionCares week which will see the Club reach out with a number of good will initiatives, including a ticket giveaway for armed forces personnel and care workers. To find out more about #AlbionCares week click here.
