ALBION NEWS: It’s all hunky dory here

Albion News pays homage to an Albion legend

LIVERPOOL are our visitors at The Hawthorns this Sunday and Albion News is taking the opportunity to put together a souvenir issue to mark the departure of the mighty Jonas Olsson, including the great man’s final appearance on our cover – Alegend Gone indeed.

Jonas is, naturally enough, the subject of our main feature and Tony Brown pays tribute to one of his favourite Albion players of recent times, but there’s plenty of other reading material available in another packed issue too.

For starters, Technical Director Nick Hammond sums up his first ten months at the football club, reflects on the signings of Chadli, Phillips, Nyom, Robson-Kanu, Livermore et al and lays down the principles that will guide us through the upcoming summer transfer window.

From the Albion Academy, Senior Professional Development Coach James Shan talks us through the ups, downs, trials and tribulations of the season at the helm of the Albion’s development squad.

Darren Moore and John Wile go head to head in a match of the centre-halves in our Q&A feature from across the years, we’ve got the lowdown on Liverpool and reports from the recent encounters with Watford and Southampton.

In our history section, we’ve got some bric-a-brac from Bilbao, some familiar faces from the Basque country here in the Black Country and a tale of one of the founding fathers, Billy Bassett.

All this and plenty more in Albion News. You know it makes sense.
