Baggies surrender two-goal lead against local rivals

ALBION’s Under-18 side suffered a 3-2 defeat against local rivals Wolves on Saturday morning in the Under-18 Premier League.

The Baggies dominated the opening half and deservedly went in at the break with a two-goal lead thanks to strikes from midfielder Alex Bradley and forward Marcus Forss.

However, the youngsters were unable to see the game out and conceded three second-half goals, with Wolves’ winner coming in the 90th minute.

Jamie Smith’s men will be looking for a positive reaction when they host Blackburn Rovers next Saturday morning.

ALBION: House, Meredith, Artymatas, Wilding, Melbourne, Dool, Forss (Holsgrove 80), Morrison, Bradley, Pierce (Walker 88).

Subs: Przybek, McCourt, Healy.
