LOAN WATCH: Three Albion youngsters in action

Campbell, Jones and Ward feature for loan sides

THREE Albion youngsters were in action for their loan sides over the weekend.

Striker Tahvon Campbell completed 90 minutes for Yeovil Town, who recorded a narrow 1-0 victory over Wycombe Wanderers at Huish Park in League Two.

Ryan Hedges’ goal shortly after the half-hour mark was enough to lift the Glovers up to 18th in the division.

Elsewhere in the fourth tier of English football, defender Callam Jones came off the bench in the 86th minute for Accrington Stanley as they drew 1-1 with Cheltenham.

Stanley took the lead courtesy of a Terry Gornell finish, but the Robins struck late on through Rob Dickie to steal a share of the spoils at the Crown Ground.

In the Vanarama National League, midfielder Joe Ward completed 81 minutes for Torquay who fell to a 1-0 defeat at Chester.

And finally, goalkeeper Ethan Ross was an unused sub for Worcester City in their goalless draw away to Boston in the Vanarama National League North.
