LOAN WATCH: Four young Baggies in action

Mixed fortunes for Albion loanees

FOUR young Baggies were in action at the weekend.

Andre Wright played just over an hour as Coventry City were beaten 3-0 away at fellow strugglers Charlton Athletic in Sky Bet League One.

Home and away fans had marched to the ground together in protest against their respective owners, but it was the Addicks who moved out of the bottom three after a comfortable victory.

In League Two, Kyle Howkins played 90 minutes as Mansfield snatched a late equaliser at home to Wycombe.

Matt Green bagged his third goal in three games as the Stags managed to rescue a 1-1 draw.

Tahvon Campbell's Yeovil side made it two 1-0 wins in a row with victory at home to Newport County.

The Baggies youngster played 56 minutes as Tom Eaves bagged the winner with ten minutes remaining.

In the Vanarama National League, Joe Ward played 81 minutes as Torquay United slipped down to 18th with a 1-0 defeat at Chester City.

Elsewhere, Sebastien Pocognoli (Brighton and Hove Albion), Tyler Roberts (Oxford United) and Callam Jones (Accrington Stanley) were all unused substitutes.
