A glimpse at the future of the past
It’s time to bring you a bit more up to date with goings on in the Download Albion archive project, and specifically the online museum element.
Over the summer, we photographed the club’s memorabilia stash from top to bottom, a pretty exhaustive and exhausting task.
In addition, we’ve been lucky enough to start photographing material from external collections too, including that of Stan Wood, 1930/31 double winner, and His Holiness Tony Brown.
In the background, far from prying eyes, these photos are now being turned into short films that hopefully bring the memorabilia to life, giving it a bit of Albion context.
