Free coach travel available for Sunderland trip

21 March 2016

Baggies face Black Cats on Saturday, April 2 (ko 3pm)

FREE coach travel is still available for Albion’s 420-mile round trip to Sunderland on Saturday, April 2 (ko 3pm).

The Club are planning to lay on up to 40 coaches capable of transporting our allocation of 2,000 fans to the Stadium of Light for the Barclays Premier League clash.

Fans can book their place when they buy their match tickets. A deposit of £1 is required, which will then be returned by stewards at the start of the journey.

Coaches depart from The Hawthorns at 9am.

It will be the third time Albion have subsidised travel to Sunderland.

The club have made a similar gesture on 14 previous occasions for league visits to Sunderland (x2), Wigan (x2), Norwich (x2) Reading, Hull, Barnsley, Charlton, Middlesbrough, West Ham, Southampton and Crystal Palace - with the team unbeaten in 12 of those 14 meetings.

Ticket prices for the trip to Sunderland are £29 adults, £19 over-65s and £10 under-16s.

Away season ticket holders, home season ticket holders and members (online only) can all now purchase tickets for the encounter.

Any remaining tickets will be placed on general sale from Tuesday, March 29.

Tickets can be bought online (click here), by calling 0121 227 2227 or in person from the East Stand Ticket Office.
