Key dates in Morrison's first nine years at The Hawthorns

August 2007 – Arrives from Middlesbrough for £1.5million

October 2007 – Scores first Baggies goal in 2-1 Hawthorns win over Blackpool. The strike is later voted Goal of the Season by fans.

April 2008 – Starts in FA Cup semi-final defeat to Portsmouth at Wembley

May 2008 – Earns promotion to the Premier League as Albion win the Championship

May 2008 – Makes Scotland debut against Czech Republic 

September 2008 – Scores first Premier League goal for Albion in 3-2 win over West Ham United

April 2009 – Suffers relegation from the Premier League

May 2009 – Comes runner-up in Player of the Season vote


May 2010 – Wins promotion to the Premier League with the Baggies for the second time

December 2010 – Makes his 100th appearance for Albion in home defeat by Blackburn Rovers

May 2011 – Scores first goal for Scotland in 3-1 win over Wales  

August 2013 – Scores against England in 1-1 draw at Wembley


November 2013 – Makes his 200th appearance for the Club in 2-2 draw with Aston Villa

May 2015 – Wins 2014/15 Supporters’ Player of the Season award

June 2016 – Signs new contract at The Hawthorns
